In response to being rejected as an official participating artist for 2009′s Texas Biennial, I decided to carry around a note that addressed my feelings on being rejected as an official participating artist in my pocket when attending any 2009 Texas Biennial event. Through photographic documentation and promotion of this documentation through flickr, I felt included. It was an unobtrusive way of inserting myself into the biennial’s context.
