Performed in the summer of 2008 at Co-Lab as part of Do It!

I recorded the voice-over intro from the 2008 Summer Olympics Games on NBC and had this playing on a television that had an American flag draped over it. I stood on one leg on a configuration of cinder blocks for the duration of the voice-over intro (fallling once), holding my untied shoelaces as a means of balancing myself. At the climax of the voice-over, which was full of dramatic chanting and cheering, I began to slowly tie my shoe. Once I tied my shoe, I jumped off the cinder blocks, completing the performance.
