Performed during the 2008 SXSW Festival at the now defunct Gallery Lombardi.
Using snippets of the blare from a clock radio set to a random station as a means of contextualizing performative acts and image-making during the nine minute snooze interval between alarm blasts, I spent approximately 6 hours producing sketch paintings, drawings, photographs, videos, writings, and whatever else that came to mind on the fly. The output was meant to be an exhibition on the limitations and boundlessness of impulse.
