Hope to See You There

Peformed in 2008 in the parking lot of Salvage Vanguard Theatre for the Fusebox Festival

The public was invited to come and watch me perform from 12:30 PM-1:00 PM. However, when they arrived, all that was there was a chair with a sign which read, “Thanks for coming… hope you can stick around for awhile… I’d like to see you.”

I was standing a block away from the parking lot of Salvage Vanguard waiting to make my entrance and see who had come to watch the performance. At 12:50 PM, I began walking to the parking lot of Salvage Vanguard. When Salvage Vanguard was within view, I closed my eyes, put my hand over my eyes, and slowly/carefully walked to the chair. To get my bearings, I had to cheat a few times by looking down at my feet to make sure I was moving in the right direction. I made my way to the chair, sat down, raised my head up, uncovered my eyes, and opened them. Approximately seven people were in the audience.
